Fantastic read @andydibble! I actually had an experience of being in my husband 's mind and seeing the world through it. It was very alien to me. Very strange experience.

Is that "held for consideration" or just not responded to? Cause I had one like that in limbo for half a thousand days.
The venue had an even longer average. Leading Edge. Honestly I still haven't heard back, I just marked it Lost and went on livin!

I've just sold a story to Gwyllion (science fiction and fantasy from Wales (but also elsewhere)), which I'm pretty stoked about! It's a revised SHM and it is the first non-flash story I've sold, and to top it off it'll be available in print. That'll be one of my writing aspirations ticked off once it is published, which won't be until May because Gwyllion publish two volumes a year. Something to look forward to (and my birthday is in May). Stars aligned on this one, I think. Just hope it all goes smoothly now...
I'll post the link when it is available if anyone is interested (though noting it is not free to view).

Awesome news @joel-c-scoberg.
Happy to see people from the forum getting their work published. Good to also know that a SHM with a bit of work is worthy of print.

Awesome news @joel-c-scoberg
And demonstration of the fact an SHM is actually a good signal about a story and we should think about trying to place it elsewhere - fundamentally its a good story!
