Hi! I am looking for a critique exchange or two. I'm looking for someone with a good eye and with an aim to shed some light on how this story reads and what might need attention. I promise a clean, readable, and fast-paced story. It's mostly there, I just need help taking it a step further.
In return, I will do inline comments as a beta reader (w/ light editorial suggestions if needed). I have been writing for 18 years. I have also been invited to help writers in professional workshops in the classroom. My feedback can identify areas that may need attention, while also keeping in mind that you have a voice as a writer. I am also open to follow-up discussion afterward.

I have a story that needs a read-through focusing on themes, layering, symbolism, etc. It's long, at roughly 16k words. But it is a read full of emotion and action. It is also fast-paced.
