Decided to get something in when Q3 results came so gratifyingly quick! Great work, folks. Keep it up!

Another reason for an early entry: I expect this'll be my last sub to the Contest. Maybe going "pro" soon —which was always the goal.

I only hope SFWA stays in the game long enough for me to pay my dues just once!

I'm half way through revisions on my Q4 entry, but I have a backup story that's ready to go just in case the main story isn't finished by the deadline.

You can do it, Peter! There's still lots of time. Last quarter I only had about an hour to write one before the deadline and I still got it in. You've got this!

@gideonpsmith Yes, yes, I did. Please replace “smooth sailing” with “still very hard work.” But no worries, I will get it done. Sometime, I’d like to try that submitting right when the quarter opens thing. Lucky.

Finally the revisions to my story are done and submitted Smile

I found a few extra wrinkles when using the Read Aloud function in Word, but I'm relieved it's all done now.

The waiting begins!
