@gideonpsmith thanks, it was kind of putting the cart before the horse. But one of the places I submitted a story to asked for website and socials, so I scrambled to put those together quickly! I had always intended to create a website further down the road, but that spurred me to action.

- I'm a stay-at-home mom and aspiring writer. I've been writing stories ever since I knew what they were, albeit, the quality has much improved since then. No matter how busy life gets, I can't seem to let writing go. I recently found out about WotF and am stoked to try my hand at a story for the next contest.

And welcome @natdok! It's tough finding time for writing as a parent (in fact, I never find time lying around waiting to be found. It has to be seized!) but it can be done. I promise!
For a crash course into the contest, I recommend Martin's OPINION on the Unwritten Rules (can be skimmed relatively quickly), Wulf Moon's SUPER SECRETS Workshop & Challenge! (will require a deeper dive and some clicking), and, finally, the official workshop.
Still two months until the Q4 deadline: hope you both manage to get a story submitted.
