I live in rural, south-central PA. I just turned fifty this year which only gives me more resovle to accomplish things like winning this wonderful contest(I know--join the club).I sent stories to the contest back in the mid-ninties. One of my stories made it as far as the semi-finals. Then I quit for a while. I had to get some life things out of the way such as a college education, but now I'm back and doubly committed.

I'm actually rather surprised that a acience fiction story made it in, but it's great for me. Hope to meet people that share my enthusiasm for good science fiction writing. Star Trek got me interested in Sci-Fi, but I'll read just about anything now.

Um, hi! I'm new on this forum, heck, I'm new to the website, and I already find myself amazed by it all. I'm thinking maybe I'm too young for all of this, everyone's already an adult, and I'm a senior in high school. But I guess I can wait and continue to work on a story for a future quarter.
