Yesterday over at my blog, I interviewed New York Times bestselling author and Writers of the Future winner Tobias S. Buckell, who wrote Halo: The Cole Protocol and the Nebula Award-nominated novel Ragamuffin. In the interview, I ask Tobias about his forthcoming novel projects, science fiction and technology, the use of Kickstarter as a platform for novel-writing, and various aspects of the craft and business of writing.
Buckell has been my number one influence for the past couple years, and I'm honored that he took the time to answer a few questions. Definitely of interest to the emerging speculative fiction writer.

And yeah, he's a lot like Jay Lake in that you've gotta respect his drive, his insane work ethic. They're both fine examples of how, despite whatever setback life hurls your way, you've got to overcome, make time, and find salvation in your work, rather than toil.
