Well, I sent a test file through the Wizehive system -- from home this time -- and it worked fine.

I am thinking that some of the problems people have been experiencing, may be the result of their having submitted from work or elsewhere where there has been a firewall or other network perimeter protection system in place.

It sure messed it up for me when I was at work.

So if you're using the e-submissions, try to do it from somewhere that doesn't have medium or heavy firewall protection?

You might have issues!

When I tried it and had a problem, I did it from home. I have no firewall that would block it like I do at work. So I'm not sure that's it. Plus I had submitted just fine in Q4 and Q1. I haven't tried it recently so maybe they've put the Webhive system back up and that's when you tried it.

That's interesting.... my home pc is on a firewall and it's prevented me from downloading updates on my computer from a certain um video game company... I have to disable it when I run those updates. My rejection had gotten lost - if you're right due to this firewall...

Firewalls can be a maddening necessity. Where I work the perimeter security prevented me from downloading updates for a piece of software my company uses -- it took weeks to get a special "rule" installed in the security to allow ONE computer to talk to the servers on the outside, and get the update.

We can thank hackers, malware writers, and virus writers for all of it.

A pox on these cyber-hooligans.

Certainly. Real viruses to the real @$$****s! :D
Too bad they're not littering the fields dead instead of the poor little blackbirds ...
