How do you make the post and topic order newest at the top? It seems all mixed up and painful at the moment.

for #1 I don't know a good way, but maybe use the "recent posts" tab at the top. Some people prefer reading it that way rather than entering specific areas. Its kind of what you're looking for.
Alternatively, if you want to go to the latest post in a thread you can just click on the orange 'new' sign and wait and for most threads it works. Some longer ones it doesnt always. I don't know a way to restructure it completely. If possible that would be a question for @jason
for a byline they call them signatures here. On one of your posts look below the photo/image and you will see some symbols. A head, then a cogwheel. Click on the cogwheel and it will take you to where you can edit your profile. scroll down to the signature block. Put whatever you want. hit "save"
