How long do author services usually send emails for after submitting?

Not getting emails makes me down.

Just an occasional heartbeat can do wonders.

I'm guessing they typically stop if you haven't submitted for a while.

An occasional mail out to past submitters wouldn't hurt.

As far as I'm aware, it's relatively inconsistent but they try not to spam everyone's inboxes. Sometimes a nudge every quarter, sometimes annually. I believe most emails go to all submitters, regardless of how long it has been. I haven't submitted in 2 years and I still get them.

Looks like I last submitted 29 September 2024.

Last follow up email received 14 March 2025.

I just submitted again on the 30 December 2025.

So it looks like they continue sending emails for 6 months.

I understand they may stop, so not to bug people who are no longer interested.

You may be right, they may give an occasional email at perhaps the 12 month mark or so.

It would be nice to think so.
