Okay, how does one get those thrice cursed smilies to cooperate?

Working on turning Lead into Gold.
Four HMs From WotF
The latest was Q1'12
HM-quarter 4 Volume 32
One HM for another contest
published in Strange New Worlds Ten.

Could you elaborate?

They don't work for me. When I drag one over all I get is code after I submit the post. If I do Smile it just shows up as that instead of a smilie.

Are smilies turned on?

Also, I don't drag them. I click them and the code appears in the reply window at the location of my cursor.

Don't drag, just click. When you do, it will say 'wotf001' or some other number then when you submit, the smilie will show up
