Okay...the spammers are seriously bugging me.

Wahreadtape or whatever posted several spam messages, some of which I reported; a day or two later, the messages were removed--but apparently this user was not deleted as well, because today there are about twenty new spams from him. Brad, what's your policy on that? I would love to see spammer accounts torched as soon as they are identified as spammers.

I'd also like an option to click on a user's profile and report the user, not just their posts. Yesterday, I noticed the "newest user" had a fishy handle, and sure enough, the "website" listed in his profile was some viagra-pharmacy thing. Surely this kind of spammer could be deleted before we have to endure actual posts...

I'd like to second the call to implement a way to report a user, not just individual posts, if it's technologically feasible.

This was a particularly troublesome spammer, but I think I might have it licked. I've blocked the e-mail, the IP, etc, etc.

We'll see if we get slammed again tonight. If not, then it's handled.

I'm diving into the control panel to see what other options I can make available for you guys, as users, to handle and/or alert me to the spam horde.
