Nope. I think I was 13 or 14 when the strip debuted. And I didn't learn of it for a while after that. But my Grandma saved me that first strip. I think the only time his full name is ever given is that one.

Martin, why are you so famous? Did you go on some spectacular adventure to save all of writing kind?

People assume my writing is a logical progression of words from which meaning can be derived, but *actually* from a non-linear, non-subjective viewpoint - it's more like a big ball of wibbly wobbly... time-y wimey... stuff.

Actually -- all kidding aside -- that's the plot of one of my half-finished novels! (Umm, if by "half" I mean 2.5 chapters and a vague outline...)

No, I'm just a loudmouth who weasels his way into every conversation and won't shut up. On the Q3 Jibber Jabber thread, I'm even embroiled in an artist conversation. One look at my stick figures should tell you how wrong that is!

They humor me because they're such kind, indulgent souls.

And I hate smilies. If you see a smiley, it wasn't me, it was Evil Martin.
