I will research elsewhere too, but I know you can enlighten me here just as well as the internet can out there.
I'm submitting a novella to a contest that requires a 1-page synopsis (single-spaced, plus 15 pages of the novella double-spaced). What is included in a great synopsis? What mix of plot versus themes versus character traits?
My first draft is probably 60% / 10% / 30%, respectively. Thanks for any insights.

If you find out, let me know. I've done a load of googling about synopsises (synopsii?), and am more confused than before. How you reduce ~100k words to 250, whilst keeping the plot straight, 'showing not telling', and infusing it with your tone/voice, is beyond me.

Found this which may help. Seems as if plot should dominate.
