Wow, Martin, Brad and ....Tina in the same edition. Not to mention Eric and Nick. Where and when can I get my copy?
But Hmm, don't know if this is proper--it could totally rude or worse, please pardon me if it is,
but Mike have you checked out Dr. Bob's writing and stories? He goes by that name here, where he is somewhat new. Made Finalist last quarter with I think three to six tries. He's a great storyteller. I'm not an editor so I could be all wet but I think I've read and learned enough about writing to recognize good storytelling, even if not enough to do good with my own writing. But he's works, at least for me.

Don't know the title, do you mean? This is the best original song at the 32nd Oscars - 'High Hopes' recorded by The Chairman of the Board. In addition to an ant moving a rubber tree it includes a ram (i.e. male sheep, not bulldozer) knocking down a dam.
This is me using metaphor, since DF is apparently fond of that!

No, I was answering the question about the ant.
I know the song.

No, I was answering the question about the ant.
I know the song.
Well I believe the answer is supposed to be self-belief.
"So any time you're feelin' blue, don't know what to do, just remember that ant - Whoops there goes another rubber tree plant!" Or words to that effect.
Now then are we ready? All right then, one more time:

Sorry I am still not being clear enough.
I meant that from a personal observation not from the song.

Just read Marina's 'The Prayer Ladder'. An absorbing tale. At the end I want to know on what level I should take it: literal, semi-literal or giant metaphor. Maybe all of these? Perhaps it is one function of the best stories to leave you wanting more.
