Yep, looks like all the Dell magazines are going that way (Ellery Queen's Mystery Magazine just announced it also). I'm psyched ![]()

Someone mentioned me somewhere, once. But, it wasn't here. And, it wasn't honorable. (A.K.A. 2x Rejections.)
Coolness and Congratulations to you indeed, izanobu!

I have a story coming out in Chicken Soup for the Soul: New Moms edition on March 8th. I have also written articles for some magazines (mostly parenting stuff) and content sites. I also have done some guest blogs at some extremely popular blogs (the guest blogs are not paid work, but it gets my writing name out there!). Mostly I do humor.
Do the WOTF contest winners have to wear lanyards for the workshop? If so I wrote an article recently that might be of use:

This story I am working on for WOTF will be my first try to sell some of my fiction stuff. So we will see if I can make the move over to fiction (gosh I hope so..much more fun!) or stick with non-fiction. I would love to some day post something successful with my fiction work... I am super impressed with those of you who have done it!! That is awesome!

Their turnaround times are generally pretty quick. It certainly doesn't hurt to send them your stories, provided what you're writing is the sort of thing they like to publish.
Great job!

My 5th pro sale is in the works. Editor requests I keep the details quiet until he gives me the all-clear to go fully public. Major on-line market. I am very excited.
