April has been good to me. Got another little HM. I sold a story to Kzine. I sold my sci-fi horror story "Len" to Black Treacle, and they published it like 2 weeks later.
http://blacktreacle.ca/
"Len" is now available in Black Treacle Magazine.
And most exciting, I just sold another story--a sci-fi humor piece--to Andromeda Spaceways Inflight Magazine. So yeah, it's been a good April. May May be as good.

The very first story I ever sold is going to be read on the Beam Me up Podcast! Yay!

A story I sold back in January, "By Way of the Eastern Road," is now up at Heroic fantasy Quarterly.

This one was a HM back in Q4V29 (I think?). Anyway, this was my attempt at writing a sword and sorcery story... without swords or sorcery.

No, I didn't forget him. We don't talk anymore except through lawyers. It's sad. I mean, he was a mentor to me.
Congrats on the FFF sale. Well done. A
And Jesse, congrats on your sale also.
I love when I check this thread and see so much good news. It inspires me.

You totally should! The editorial back and forth with Adrian Simmons and Dave Farney was a nice experience. It was a pleasure working with them. Though, I should warn you, my story was out with them for 306 days before they bought it, so if you have a tendency to be impatient (like I do) the wait will drive you a little crazy. But hey, patience paid off this time.
Also, thanks for all the kind words, y'all! And congrats to preston and bobsandiego for their recent successes!

Congrats Bob & Jesse. I read your story, Jesse. It was really entertaining and moved right along. I especially enjoyed the characters, particularly Ren, and the setting was also very well-drawn. I can see why it earned an HM. So, yay!

Dang, thanks! I downloaded Black Treacle, so I'm looking forward to checking your latest out.
Two things to report. Last month I received an acceptance for a piece of flash from Nature magazine. Totally excited about it, as it's my second SFWA qualifying sale.
Also, I just received an acceptance from Perihelion Science Fiction for a recent WotF HM.
No information yet on when either of these will be published, but I'll update when they come out!
