Very interesting, Brad. Thanks for sharing! Lou Anders said much the same to us at WorldCon this year, and I definitely think the best con to attend will depend largely on where you are in your career and what you hope to accomplish from the experience. For me, since I don't have any content to sell directly to fans, WorldCon was a great opportunity to start building connections and network with other professionals in the field, and I'm glad I had the chance to go.

Excellent article and it mirrors what I've been thinking about Cons. I wish I could go to *all* of them, including WorldCon every year (because I had such a fantastic time my first time last year), but since I'm not filthy rich with oodles of freetime, I'm thinking I need to spread the love around. So right now I'm thinking of hitting Dragon*Con next year to get a different (but not necessarily better) Con experience.
