Hi all,
Has anyone ever come across a short-story anthology with a magic realism theme?
If not, it seems like it would be a good idea to start one.
I love anthologies, so I've been trying to get my hands on one dedicated to this often overlooked genre.
Thanks!
Love Hurts: A Speculative Fiction Anthology (Meerkat Press, 2015) had some good magical realism in there, but it wasn't devoted to just magical realism. Oh, and there's Kelly Link's collection of short stories from around the same year called "Get In Trouble". Would love to hear of anything else recent as well, whether magical realism, fabulism, or slipstream, as there seems to be some overlap between those three subgenres.
