We all communicate our feelings, our ideologies, most of the time.
And twitch with hearts that race when our phones ring each quarter of the year.
But have you ever thought about the judges dilemma.
Passing a story through implies excellence displayed promoting an author's career.

I've read the anthology and can truly say; two thumbs up to the effort expended.
From the first story to the last I was engaged and wanting more when it ended.
I'll admit right now I look forward to v32,
We twitch, what do they do?

A beautiful three-hundredth post!

And I think I can answer the final question: they hope. They've all been at this stage of their careers, and they sincerely want new writers to break through like they did. I'm sure the author and illustrator communities have their share of selfish bastards who resent the newcomers, but those people don't agree to be judges. The ones who judge are the ones who care. They want you to succeed; and once you've broken through into the winner list, they believe you can succeed. They believe you can do it if only you get a little guidance, and they want to guide you.
