A thought for all:
The number of Silvers has gone up substantially due to a noted increase in the quality of the work. Many of those and higher are from this group. Many have worked their way up those honor tiers to their winner. The certificates are a notable sign of progress in our writing.
Here’s a concept to help. Recognize that at the top, you are up against the best in the world, many just a sale away from losing their amateur status. And then they win. Ask yourself what kind of work and training they must have done to get that win. Consider the daily or weekly habits they built up to achieve that goal. Then, ask yourself where your habits are in relation, and adjust if necessary.
To become a champion, you must do the work of a champion.
Doubt me? Look at the signature lines of those from our forum that finally worked their way up to the win. We have many wonderful examples here of this truth.
Fortune favor the brave ... and those working hard to learn their craft.
This is the way.
