Okay, I wanted to get caught up on results first because there have been two new pages added in the last 24 hours (understandably so), but...
Umm...
Third time, you guys! I'm holding my breath on any celebrations until I find out whether or not I place (because, yeah, third time), but I was pretty giddy yesterday. Feeling more emotionally regulated today, but I'm definitely thrilled that this story got this far. I'd put a lot of effort into it, but I figured competition was too steep for it to land on the short stack. Just goes to show you can never predict this kind of thing!
If you are in difficulties with a book, try the element of surprise: attack it at an hour when it isn't expecting it. ~ H.G. Wells
If a person offend you, and you are in doubt as to whether it was intentional or not, do not resort to extreme measures; simply watch your chance and hit him with a brick. ~ Mark Twain

@empressed REALLY BIG CONGRATULATIONS! Wow, exciting. Next time, you’ll be on stage in a gown holding a crystal pyramid with a feather inside. Oh yes, I can see you there.
And a huge congrats to all Rs, HMs, and SHMs. It takes a great deal of stress and worry just to get it done and sent in. Then all the stress of waiting.

@rschibler Thanks! I wasn't so sure and I've looked at what I "apparently" sent (I'm still not sure the file I see is the right one because I remember making changes that aren't in it), but if they like it, I won't argue. LOL
