Well, I just received an email from Joni proclaiming that my story has received an HM..... And then I realized that was for last quarter and I needed to scroll further down in the email chain. Ha! Ha!.

Hi Beth. I'm new to the forums and curious if the response data you mentioned is something I'm also supposed to be keeping track of for myself? Unfortunately it was a R for me, but Joni worded it so nicely it didn't sting too bad! LOL
I got a rejection 🙁 It was a rewrite of my previous story that got an HM, but it was also before I joined the forum. Have since realized I did everything wrong with the rewrite so I expected a rejection but was mildly optimistic it would at least place.

Another rejection, but no wonder about it. I just finished the online workshop, and I understood how many mistakes I've made. Having a nice story idea in the head without transmitting it to the reader worths nothing.
