NaNoWriMo always makes me write more than usual--I'm at 15,500 words but twitching so hard today I can't focus. LOL

I did Camp NaNo once, as a way to finish up my novel draft from the previous NaNo. That worked out okay, and I did get a finished draft in the end.
I abandoned the draft later, for a number of reasons, but I'm using a bunch of the world building work for another project now.

@craydimensional I agree--November is a hard month for writing, but it's nice to know there are so many people working creatively all at the same time. It spurs me along.
@doctorjest I've done Camp NaNo once, but it just didn't feel the same for me. So many of my NaNovels have been abandoned, but I had fun writing them so I don't mind hahaha

I got an RWC. It looks like they added a few extra categories to this: Playing in some else’s sandbox and Reality check.
I'm ok with this, I wrote almost all of it during the last six hours and had a very short amount of time to edit. Now that it's been a few months I'll dive back in, fix it up, and send it to other markets.
It was a post apocalyptic western, so I fear it may have been rejected for being tropey or not having enough spec elements. I don't think there's a point in resubmitting here.
Congrats everyone else!

Straight R here. It's been a while. This was the third version of a story that has gone R, RWC, and now R even though I got a great critique of my RWC and thought I had made major improvements. Regardless of outcome it was always going to be the final revision. Hoping for the best for the rest of y'all and multiple forum finalists.

Ugh. I just found out last night that I sent in the wrong version of my story. It was a partial edit completely missing the beginning and several other edits.
checked my email and just saw that I got an honorable mention. I’m frustrated with myself to say the least. I’m generally so careful. Now I feel like I’ve wasted a quarter.
