Odd. I, too, received a spam about finding a dentist. Fortunately, I am quite happy with mine and deleted it without even taking a peak. See what a good job he's done?

Q1 - 29 is the Energizer Bunny. On steroids.

Couple of random thoughts on Q1:

Does anyone else want to type Q1 as Q! (with an exclamation point)?

If Q1 was an animal what kind of animal would it be?

If a post is deleted in the Q1 thread how long will it take for someone to fill in the blank gapping hole with a knock knock joke?

I beg to differ on the energizer bunny remark. I'm thinking more StayPuff Marshmallow Man. See, Q1 is large, some would say enormous-- but mostly filled with a fluffy gooey substance. It has a blue hat (see WOTF website banner above). And when poked it has a depth of feeling and meaning that goes beyond reason or sanity even. Besides, the biggest hint of all that this thread is the Marshmallow Man: Where do you think we got all the marshmallows for the shooters? Hm?

Also, I would say Q1 is a slow loris or maybe a sloth. Slow, steady, and fuzzy.

How about a monkey banging cymbals? Big grin. Won't ever stop, even when you toss it to the bottom of the lake. Sitting down their banging while the Energizer Bunny runs slow, wet circles around it, falls over in the silt, and keeps going, digging deeper and deeper.

If this thread were an animal, it would be an elderly alligator of course. On account of the fact that it is extremely long.

What animal would Q! be? A phoenix, of course. Consumed in the finality of decision, it rises from ashes to begin another long life. By allowing it to live for so long, Q! has evolved into a living thing. Maybe a gator-like phoenix. I'm trying to visualize what that would look like... a red feathered dragon, I suppose.

See its wings flapping? (though I don't know why it flies upside down)

On the tangent of light-hearted speculation on the fate of this thread (e.g. what sort of animal would it be) what will be the result when the thread becomes self-aware? Will it be bent on destroying all humans a la Bender from Futurama/Terminator? More altruistic? Offering creative writing critiques throughout all forms of online media (it will have a heyday trying to fix all the mistakes/problems on facebook! Nearly as many errors as found in popular news media! :D) Something else entirely?

Loving all the Q! speculation. Great animal choices. I think when we figure it out, it WILL come alive as Travesty has pointed out.

Whenever the waits get long for the other quarters I come back here and like to be reminded how wonderful and creative long waits can get.

Quarter 3 better step it up! I wonder at what point Q3 and Q4 will end up being announced together? Or sort of on top of each other like Q1 and Q2.
