Of course, once everybody knows a trick like that, then they ALL send out their news releases on Tuesday or Wednesday. Tuesday and Wednesday become flooded, and the visibility drops to zero.
So then really smart people send THEIR releases out on another day. Maybe trying to precede the wave on some day like, oh, say...
Monday?

according to Wikipedia:
A s'more (sometimes spelled smore) is a traditional nighttime campfire treat popular in the United States and Canada consisting of a roasted marshmallow and a layer of chocolate sandwiched between two pieces of graham cracker.[1]
Yup, I had to Google again to figure out what the heck you guys are all talking about. As for Graham cracker, I've vaguely heard of that, I think I was forced to google that once before!

Ah, light comes on inside brain - never thought to google smores even after 300 odd references to it ... a Graham cracker had me lost again. Googles the equivalent of it in Australia - closest thing is a Wheatmeal Digestive ...
mmm ... that would be a small meal to keep you going until Thursday of next week's announcements

Okay, that marshmallow isn't toasted NEARLY enough. It should be golden brown.
Not black, but almost.

Yes, I'd recognize a microwaved s'mores from anywhere.

David, it's currently s'mores eating season here in America. From Memorial Weekend to Labor Day weekend = Camping = S'mores. All the stores keep the s'mores supplies up front and easily accessible, they take turns running marshmallow/graham cracker/Hersey sales.
I have to admit. I can't stand Hersey's chocolate, not after living in London where I think there must be a ban on bad chocolate, but I can't image making a s'mores without it.
Side-note: My autocorrect keeps trying to change s'mores into "smokes" -- probably to remind me they're equally unhealthy.

Ah, graham crackers...yet another Food From Home I have to ask my stewardess friends to pick up for me on their trips to the US. Along with decent vanilla extract, corn meal, chocolate chips, baking soda, maple syrup, and blackstrap molasses.
(You can find corn meal here if you search the Oriental shops, oddly enough, and grade C maple syrup is available at health food stores for well over the grade-A price in the US. I've taken to using baking powder across the board and hammering chocolate bars to bits for my cookies.)

A wheatmeal digestive?
I do NOT want one of those.
Personally, I'm not a s'mores fan. However, like 10-15 years ago there was a s'mores cereal on the market that I ate by the box load. It was by the Golden Grahams people. (That's right, we even have graham cracker cereal.)
Today's version, by Kellogs, is pretty nasty. They get soggy in milk in 12 seconds and before I know it I'm eating spoonfuls of soggy cardboard.

I've got to agree. That just looks gross to me. As for the Gator, she insists it's not food at all.
Instead, she suggests:
and I have to agree with her there.
Although if you are looking for something toastable how about:

This, from the land of Vegemite? When Men at Work made the stuff briefly popular in the US, I tried some. I have some pretty exotic tastes. I really wanted to like it. But I took one dab, stuck it on my tongue, and spit it out. I tried some more on toast, and I threw it out. The entire, expensive, imported jar followed the toast.

Bah, Americans! You have no taste! To be fair, I've never tasted Vegemite, but if it's anything like Marmite it's extremely yummy. Marmite on cream crackers, yum.

Okay, I can see Corn, Maple Syrup, and Vanilla since those are American exports. But baking soda? How do chocolate cookies work in a land with no chocolate chips?
Marmite on cream crackers, yum.
How do you make cream into crackers? (That sounds like cheese to me.) I have no idea what Marmite is, but I don't particularly care for S'Mores either. Graham Crackers all day long, but never marshmallows.
ETA: Okay, actually Wikipedia tells me that baking soda requires ingredients mined in Colorado. *The More You Know*
Historical trivia:
The inventor of the graham cracker espoused a vegetarian, whole grain diet not so much for the health benefits but because he thought it would reduce sexual urges and prevent the sin of "self-abuse."
Weird, huh?
So it's pretty funny that its most commonly consumed form today is topped with an aphrodisiac.

Weirder still, he thought the crackers would be bland and tasteless, in line with his ascetic philosophy. I think he failed horribly in that regard. The good ones are very flavorful, with a slightly sweet, grainy taste.
