That was on page 17 I think. February when it wasn't 90+ degrees. Just reminiscing.

I'd love to have it all turn around and this be my year for luck, but so far today I've not seen any gumdrops falling from the sky...so I hope results do not come today.

It's cool, Tina. I had a dream last night that I was at the awards ceremony and you won first place.

No, no, no. No. No. Results can't come today! Today is May 29th and this is historically a bad day for me. I've had family members get into horrible crashes, best friend diagnosed with cancer, important things breaking, toe stubbing, friend fights, weather changes when they weren't scheduled to happen, and favorite restaurants closing (to name a few). If results come today it would be doom for me. The best I could hope for is that results do come today and my entire submission got lost in the New Years Eve mail.

I'd love to have it all turn around and this be my year for luck, but so far today I've not seen any gumdrops falling from the sky...so I hope results do not come today.

I'm going to be a terrible person and point out that most of those things happened to other people, Tina... People close to you, yes, but not you... In this situation, you may WANT to be the person who hears about other people getting bad news but not you...

Dave's Daily kick is about writing contests and he announced he has been invited to be the coordinating judge.
Perhaps now he'll be returning the kicks to our collective pants soon...

Nobody is immune to their evil counterparts! I know, the luck has nothing to do with being directed at me. I have several that were directed at me, but I didn't have room to post them and I usually get more upset at things that happen to other people.
