I hadn't considered FB.

Anyone's welcome to add me. I'd go on an add rampage but I don't want to make anyone uncomfortable if they're like, "Damn, he found me!"

D

I feel the same way. I'm pretty shy about adding, too.

Bombs in the thread, I tell you. Bombs. Hunt them down.

Easter egg hunt, kids! Get the bomb dogs out. We'll find 'em.

I shall stop at 1,999 posts. I will not make my 2,000th until we have Q1 announcements.

I loved Space 1999, it was one of my favorite series back in...I don't even remember when.

Seriously, though, Martin has been silent for more than 3 hours now? I wonder how long he'll be keeping it up. Must be like being on a hunger strike for him! wotf015

Was just over on facebook and saw Martin.

He reminds me of one of those politicial or religious leaders in exile. Banished from WoTF country and setting up camp in FBworld, spouting chicken jokes.

Firstly - he's only sworn off posting here. I'm sure he still comes to read. Maybe we need to set up a Martin thread, one designed to make him post. Anyone can say anything in there, and there should be a prize for the first person to make him break his silence....

hehhehe

Secondly, feel free to add me on FB also.

Well, it's nearly midnight, I doubt I'm going to hear anything now today, so either Martin is going to have to speak before we get results or I predict he's going to stay quiet for a whole week. wotf015

This is so funny.

Where would a Martin dedicated thread go? I'd hate to see it go into the Kitchen Sink and get lost.

ETA: I found the appropriate thread. This self-banishment is truly a problem of the highest order, much needed troubleshooting shall ensue.

In a Q4 thread? 😉 I was going to start one earlier today...but I don't actually have anything even remotely ready. And I didn't want to jinx Q1 results.

Holy shiz, I go off line for a day of manual labor and the whole place goes nuts--and Martin goes AWOL.

And now there's an actual report of a rejection on Duotrope. Somehow that makes it feel more real. They're coming... (and the finalists, too, of course).

My fear is that it is the only result for today. Every single person came on and said it was someone in the hold pile reporting in. Perhaps we need another topic in the Problems and Troubleshooting forum.

It is quite possible that Meghan and I were reporting the same person. Her post came many after mine and she might have missed it. If any of that makes sense, I'm surprised with the meds kicking in...

Whomewhat?

I don't suppose it makes it any better if I'm refreshing for other markets? Yeah, probably not...

Yep. I'd say those meds are kicking in full force.

Hope you feel better soon, Francis.

Admitting it is the first ste.... Whoops, wrong forum.

Ehem.. you're among friends here. We really are the only ones who understand.

More later, I'm off to refresh Duotrope. (Yes, for other markets. I'm already out of the mix for Q1)

I just realised I'm on 399 posts, so I've decided I'm not going to post my 400th until I have something important to say.

ON a brighter note, well for me at least, my HM certificate arrived today. This is the first I have gotten since 2009, how long have they been blue and all pretty-like?
