ON a brighter note, well for me at least, my HM certificate arrived today. This is the first I have gotten since 2009, how long have they been blue and all pretty-like?

Well, you can't duck out like Martin. Losing you both at the same time... How about a marathon post that properly celebrates the occasion?

I still believe in thursdays! That was one of the most exciting thursdays in a long time. Four pages! Sheesh! And only a couple mystery HMs and one rejection. Well, looks like our little company is still intact. At least until next thursday. (sigh) That feels like a year from now.

I got a grand total of two rejections overnight. Neither of them Writers of the Future. I've mentioned one of them over in the Writing section.

I'm still a hold having heard nothing. NNiNN, although, I suspect strongly that there are some finalists already, I'm hoping some slots may still exist.
I met the person who got the HM at superstars. and have heard nothing else to report, although the day is young.

I'm still here. As of 8:42 (PST) I have no news on my Q1 story.

I probably won't be posting much in the next few days because I have some stories to send out, a blog post (a review that will require me to post it on a variety of sites and I'm technically not very savvy, so it will be an all day project), Q3 to finish, a short story to start that's been percolating, and I have a funeral to attend. I set a silly goal of myself to do this all before the end of June, so I guess I'd better get started. Even though I joked about waiting on my 1K post I don't know if I actually will...

I like how Krystal is posting huge pictures of marshmallow shooters. She's making the thread bump closer to page 101 a lot quicker using all that space. And it's relevant to the thread. Anyone who tries to sneak away after what Martin pulled will get pelleted with marshmallows! Although Krystal is nearly as close as me to 1K

ETA: Anyone who wants to whine about Martin suspending his post can do so in the thread we started over in the Problems and Troubleshooting forum. Make sure you grab a yellow ribbon when you do. How come your soooo freakin' funny, Strycher!! I love it. We need a smilie with a big circle and cross though it too....that will get his attention.

ETAA: To get a fancy yellow ribbon in protest, you can hit "Quote" on Krystal's (Strycher's) post in the Problems and Troubleshooting thread we created (A big, big problem on this board). Copy and paste the URL on the image you want to show up in your avatar. (GO to user control panel, then to the "Profile" tab, then under the profile tab you'll see "Edit avatar" in the bar all the way to the left. Paste the URL where it says to in the edit avatar section. You'll need to delete the IMG in brackets ( [IMG] ) before it will let you use it.

Due to deadlines, he couldn't get into it until this week, but will finish judging Friday on Q1, and will begin work on Q2 on Saturday.

Straight from the Horses mouth. It sounds like Q1 should be judged already and is just in the process of contacting people, probably next week?

So ... this past Friday, as in June 15? Thanks for the update. That's good news that results should be coming soon but bad news that we've all been obsessively checking our e-mail boxes for weeks for no reason. I better get my Q3 entry submitted today if I'm going to have three out at the same time.
