We want to thank all of you who have been reaching out to Writers and Illustrators of the Future regarding the LA fires. As many of you know, we are located in the heart of Los Angeles, in Hollywood. We recently witnessed firsthand one of the Los Angeles wildfires in the hills right behind us. Thanks to the incredible bravery and efficiency of our firefighters, the flames were stopped, and our building still stands.
Our thoughts are with those who have suffered losses in the fires that did not get stopped in time, and we extend our deep gratitude to the heroes who work tirelessly, day and night, to keep us safe.

While our staff have been assisting with vans full of supplies for the shelters, we are also continuing to run the Contests.
