Hi all,

If I can't de-lurk for this, what can I de-lurk for, really?

wotf057

I have been lurking for months now. It's a weird thing, but I feel as though I know many of you. And I'm excited to be sharing a TOC with some of you in ASIM issue 59!

Best of luck to those still in, congrats to the HMs and other Semi-Finalists, commiserations to the Rs, and good luck next quarter to us all!

Best,

JJ

I guess it's pointless to add that I was rejected. Already edited the story and have it out to lightspeed. It'll be a lightning round rejection from there I hear (two days out at midnight!). I'm strangely okay with all my rejections because I've finished another short story today and have five or so on submission. Also, Joni asked if I wanted writing advice. Is that a free service? Pretty nifty.

Warning, everyone.
This forum has been trolled!

Or, at least visited by a troll.
Or by a guy who writes about trolls. wotf011

Welcome, PDBlake. Great to see you. Glad to hear about the HM too.

form rejection received on Friday.

On the bright (kind of) side, I discovered after a conversation with Joni that I am not actually ineligible for the contest after all. So this is not actually my last entry ever as I had thought.

And I found that out soon enough to avoid missing a quarter by dropping a story in the mail on Friday.

Hi everyone. This is my second day after registering and this is my first post. I am reading posts about some of you having news of your submissions. How do I find out about my story?

Hi, Storysinger, and welcome!

This section up here for where folks post their results, and only their results. General questions, socializing and "Are we there yet?" goes on in the quarterly Jibber Jabber threads, of which this is the one for the current quarter: viewtopic.php?f=1&t=1675 .

We're in Quarter 3 right now. If you entered electronically, you'll be notified via email unless you're a finalist, and then you get a phone call. If you snail mailed a paper manuscript, your results will arrive by snail mail, with the same caveat about finalists and phone calls.

C'mon down to the Q3 Jibber Jabber thread. We can tell you more down there. Smile
