HM, except that I actually withdrew the story several weeks ago. wotf017

I'm happy with the HM. The story had a large-ish flaw in the 2nd half that I didn't realize until a week or so after I submitted it. I knew it wouldn't get me where I wanted to go this Q, so I withdrew it to perform surgery and send it elsewhere. Smile

Rejected!!! This is libel! Slander! How dare they!!!

In any case... There was a glaring error that I edited into my final drafttrying to make the beginning stand out. Next quarter I have a resubmission that takes the advice of the DSF editors... So, watch out!!

I just spoke with Joni Labaqui and I'm a finalist!!!! In total shock. She is a wonderfully nice person.

I just discovered this forum a couple of days ago, so sorry I haven't said hi to you all before now.

Kitty's having fun firing marshallows at my head. wotf005 At least she isn't whipping out the flame thrower...yet.

Congratulations to all the HMs so far! And to Michael on being a Finalist!

My first HM... I'm kinda floored and kinda happy, because I liked it, but didn't know if others would.

Wheeee! Form R. wotf019
This is becoming something of a joke I fear, though at least it wasn't a surprise for this one, it was a Gator story, and no one seems to much like those. wotf004

Of course Gator is feeling a bit sulky all the same. It might be best to keep out of her way for today.

Semi-Finalist for me. This gives me the triple crown of critiques; I've had them from Algis Budrys and KD Wentworth, and now will have one from Dave Wolverton Smile I'll need to write a post about their differing critiquing styles.

And, congrats to Michael W for his Finalist!
