Copy a favorite sentence or paragraph from your short story into Twitter:
Something you think is complete, pithy —pretty much perfect, but just a line or two beyond the character limit.
In Twitter, pare it down to fit the submit —don't hesitate, slash! Rewrite!
Post it to Twitter (this step can't be skipped, you need to perceive those eyeballs, y'all!)
Copy and paste the new version into your story, replacing the original. Give it a good look, and...
Decide which you like better!
