Hello, fellow freelancers! I used to use QuillBot as an assistant for creating content and faced some challenges. Quillbot is a powerful tool but has some limitations. My challenges were:

Limited Writing Styles: QuillBot offers just two writing modes for free users. This might feel a bit restrictive when you're aiming for diverse tones and styles in your work.

Missing OpenAI GPT AI: The absence of OpenAI GPT AI writing can be a problem. It's like missing a powerful tool from your writing toolkit.

Character Limitations: Whether on free or paid plans, running into character limitations can be frustrating.

No AI Content Detection: The tool doesn't automatically spot potential plagiarism or duplicated content, which means you have to do it manually.

Manual intervention Required: Frequent manual intervention can be time-consuming. Ideally, a tool should minimize the need for extra adjustments.

In my personal opinion, some alternatives like the Rewording Tool and Paraphrasing Tool could be game-changers. They handle these issues in different ways, giving you a smoother writing experience. I've been using these tools for quite a while, and they've made my writing more effective and efficient. That's why I wanted to share these useful tools with you.

Now, as a community of writers, have you come across other tools that effectively handle these challenges? Let's share your suggestions and help each other create even better content. Your thoughts are gold – drop them in the comments below!

Very useful for what? This basically looks like an automated thesaurus. Why do I need an automated thesaurus? It doesn't look any better at finding the EXACT word I need than manually going to thesaurus.com.

I would argue that using bots and AI to write a story — even if only using these tools to initially plot a first draft — do not make you a more efficient writer. Rather, they have the potential for becoming dangerous crutches you end up relying on for the rest of your life.

This is my concern, so I don't even use LLMs at work for basic non-fiction writing. I want to fire my creativity neurons whenever I can rather than risk losing them.

I have used LLMs to suggest ideas when I've finished a piece of non-fiction writing on a topic I'm not an expert on, to see what I missed.
