To humanize AI writing, focus on creating a natural, conversational tone that resonates with human readers. This involves using simple, clear language that is easy to understand. It's important to avoid overly complex or technical jargon unless it's necessary for the context. Crafting sentences that flow smoothly into one another enhances readability, making the text engaging and easier to follow. Coherence is key; the text should have a logical structure, with ideas and concepts connected in a way that makes sense. Using transitional phrases can help in linking sentences and paragraphs, ensuring a smooth flow of ideas. Personalization is another aspect; tailoring the content to the reader's interests or needs can make the writing feel more relevant and engaging. Incorporating storytelling elements, such as anecdotes or examples, can make the text more relatable and memorable. Lastly, varying sentence structure and length adds rhythm to the writing, preventing it from sounding monotonous or robotic.
- Use Simple Language: Avoid complex jargon to ensure clarity.
- Smooth Sentence Flow: Craft sentences that logically and smoothly transition from one to the next.
- Logical Structure: Organize ideas coherently, making the text easy to follow.
- Transitional Phrases: Use them to connect sentences and paragraphs.
- Personalization: Tailor content to the reader’s interests or needs.
- Storytelling Elements: Include anecdotes or examples for relatability.
- Vary Sentence Structure: Mix short and long sentences to add rhythm and prevent monotony.
- Conversational Tone: Write as if speaking to the reader, making the text more engaging.
Forgive me for saying, but that sounds exactly like something AI would say.

Sorry, that thumb down was me. Fat fingers hit the wrong one and it won't let me change it.

To humanize AI writing, I use simple language, ensure smooth sentence flow, and connect ideas logically. Personalize content to the reader's needs, add stories or examples for relatability, and vary sentence length to keep it engaging. Apart from this I use https://texthumanizer.ai tools which can help make AI content more natural and conversational.
@abeona I don't think you need forgiveness for that.

When I work at my review editor scoring, I have discovered that AI gives generalizations and doesn't actually give any details. For instance, if a reviewer wrote "This book has become 405th on the most popular list on Amazon. It will then speak about how the author's writing was popular." The reviewer is often marked as possibly using AI. AI isn't creative and every writer who is genuine, will project their feelings into their writing in a way that readers can understand the. I avoid AI for anything I write.
When it comes to writing, especially in fields like nursing or healthcare, clarity and coherence are key. One thing I’ve found helpful is to keep the structure simple and focus on flow to ensure readability.
Funny how a topic about AI writing has attracted the attention of — what appear to be — a squad of AI bots! LOL

@morgan-broadhead I was so confused until I read your comment, then I laughed out loud. Thank you.
And also, is this thread real? I honestly thought it was a joke.

Jason and the rest of the crew do a great job with securing the site, but random bots and trolls do occasionally slip through. The thread is real only in the fact that it's here and still available. However, there are clearly posts here that either aren't real or were written by folks who don't understand what WOTF is all about.
As Gideon alludes to above, feel free to be a Jawa and dispatch any bots on sight!
