This is a minor success with the potential to be major.  I was informed today that my submission to the SLF Older Writers' Grant has moved forward to the second round of jury deliberations, and they hope to have an update for me soon.  Does anyone have experience with their grants?  I'm curious if the second round is more like Kary getting through a story without hating it too much and passing it on, or if it's a short list.
