Found out yesterday that my short story "Moonbound" will be appearing in ThunderDome Magazine sometime in the next couple weeks. Will check back when the story goes live on their website.
Is that the one I critiqued last year? I really liked that one.
Congrats, Alex!

Latest Out:
Now Available:
It's not the asteroid mining one, if that's what you're thinking. It's a surreal little story about a young man struggling with girls, God, and the Ferris wheel.
ETA: Yep. I dug back into my email, and it looks like you read it last June. Thanks!

Congrats Alex!
That's exciting news about AE, as well.
Congratulations!

Congrats Michael and Alex!!
In less successful news, DSF sent me a form rejection a few days ago for the story that went into their second round. But I still count the second round-ness a small victory.

Awesome! That's definitely a small victory. It's weird . . . I once got "PS An almost for us," and also "This made it to our second round." I wonder what the difference is. I imagine "An almost for us" means something like a "third round," since the story that earned that was significantly better, and more recent, than my second round one. Any ideas?
My DSF story yesterday was by one Helen Jackson.
Could it have been our Helen Jackson?

Thank you guys! I'm glad you at least like me enough to tell me you like the story.

Hardly-- I don't believe in blowing smoke. You really had a great idea with excellent execution. If I was judging the story based on your personality instead of your writing, I'd say "A little rough around the edges, but honest."

That's a nice way of putting it. It must be pretty bad if it's bled into my internet persona.
