Nick,
Can you turn your back a few times for me?

Congratulations Michael, Helen, Alex and Strycher... Anyone I've missed? Things are jumping on this front, aren't they?
I've also had an excellent two weeks.
Three sales to small press, two more stories on hold, the release of FableCroft's Epilogue - which includes my story, the launch of Snapshot 2012 for which I was interviewed, and now I've just received a personal rejection from Sheila Williams for my last WoTF reject.
And next week is convention time. Roll on Continuum.
Life is good, here in Chateau Cameron.

And, to top it off, I just saw the first review of my story Fireflies from Epilogue.

Fireflies - Steve Cameron - Five stars.
Beautiful and emotive. A lovely journey that was set up well, and followed through wonderfully. I would love to see more in this world.
Yay....

Great story, Alex!
Thanks!

Congrats Steve!
Congrats Alex - that was a great read.
Congrats Strycher! Can't wait to read it, when does it come out on the site for those-who-should-really-get-a-DSF-subscription?

The "real" Ember is a good friend and let me borrow her account, she won with "Half Past" in Vol. 31
Thanks, Ember! -- and indeed, to everyone who took the time to read it. I'm honored.
If it's not too much to ask, I'd love for you to rate the story (on a scale from 1-5 stars), if you get the chance. I imagine that stories that receive a higher number of votes, or a better average rating, are more likely to get picked up for a future best-of anthology. Much appreciated.
Again, I can't thank you enough for reading the story.

Thanks! And it should be out on their website for free next week. I'm sure I'll be obnoxiously informing everyone when it's available.
My story is out in GigaNotoSaurus: http://giganotosaurus.org/2012/06/01/on-higher-ground/
Can't wait to read it. ![]()

Uuuuuh, I'm not sure where to post this so I'm putting here.
I was invited to do a guest post on Jenna Quentin's blog: Check it out here.
Awesome guest blog Krystal! I liked hearing about the background of the story and I sneaked onto your blog. I don't think I've ever been on it before, it looks awesome...which I'd expect from an awesome person extraordinaire.
