Does anyone have any experience with this semi-new publication, Wisdom Crieth Without? ( http://www.wisdomcriethwithout.com )
The pay is pretty good, but some of the submission guidelines are odd. For example, if a work contains "promiscuity" (whatever qualifies as that) the work is automatically rejected and the author's email marked as spam forever after. I also can't seem to find much about what they have published previously and the website seems difficult to navigate.
Has anyone submitted here, or investigated them?

After reading your post I went to their site.
Their main interest seems to be poetry.
I have a large portfolio of poetry so I submitted two.
The best way to gather information is to interact with them.
I'll let you know how the experience works out.

I sent them a story. Still waiting to hear back, though.
I need to try them.

I have also read their guidelines and found them a little peculiar. I have entered them in my database of pro markets as a possibility, but very near the bottom--so it will probably be a long time before I give them a try.
WOTF: 1 SF, 1 SHM, 4 HM
Fiction (EN): 43 stories sold, 29 published
Fiction (GR): c.10 stories published & a children’s novel
According to Duotrope, they respond to almost all submissions, and pay pro rates. (I can't find payment information in their guidelines for anything other than art, though.)
Here are their average response times for fiction:
Acceptances 0.00 % !
Rejections 83.33 % (46.7 avg. days per rejection) | 53.33 % personal, 33.33 % form, 13.33 % unspecified
so it looks like they're a hard sell on fiction.
Duotrope puts them firmly in the literary category, so they probably won't be too fond of genre subs.

According to their guidelines, they pay 6c a word, up to $240 per story. You're probably right about the genre focus, though they don't specifically preclude it.
