The "hardcore" aspect is that a lot of the possibilities of post-humanism are assumed, without explanation. I believe there is —there must be— a market for this kind of work but if you aren't an avid reader of the subgen, it's not really for you.

I need readers who can help me walk the line I've drawn for myself, not talk me off the ledge!

I'm going to ask volunteers to contact me by DM, rather than in the thread here, which I'll reserve for anyone wanting to talk about the post-human endeavor in fiction, its promise and pitfalls!

I'll start: How do you develop "flesh-and-blood" characters which have no flesh, no blood? How do you gender a personified cog factory? (As a theoretical example)
