Genocide is hot in the news and in the world psyche right now. I suspect there will be many stories submitted with genocide in the theme for Volume 41. The nice thing about speculative fiction is--just like in the original Star Trek series--you can explore issues through alien cultures that might be too hot to write about openly in your own. Doesn't matter if many write on this topic. The cream rises to the top. Make sure its yours by not being homogenized!

It’s been on Amazon’s Top 100 Best Sellers list in Fiction Writing books almost the entire time—it hit #13 a week ago, and this list is filled with famous writing books by icons like Ernest Hemingway, Stephen King, and Ray Bradbury. It actually made #1 New Release in Fiction Writing books on Amazon before it released (I’ve never seen that before) and remained #1 New Release in fiction writing books for most of six weeks. It made Draft2Digital’s Top 25 Weekly Bestsellers list of all their nonfiction titles six times so far (it made their Top 25 Weekly Bestseller List this month again), and has remained a Smashwords Bestseller in Creative Writing books the entire six months.
