I used How to Write a Howling Good Story to create a fresh, new story for the LTUE anthology. For the first time, I felt confident in what I wrote and was very happy with the resulting story! I'll find out near the end of September if the editor likes my positive, military science fiction story.

Editor Danny Hankner interviewed me at Story Unlikely, a literary magazine with 9000 subscribers. He did the interview because he loved my bestselling book 𝐇𝐎𝐖 𝐓𝐎 𝐖𝐑𝐈𝐓𝐄 𝐀 𝐇𝐎𝐖𝐋𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐆𝐎𝐎𝐃 𝐒𝐓𝐎𝐑𝐘 and wanted to know more about the man behind it.

It's a unique interview because he honed in on the trials we've been through that I only alluded to in the book, like surviving an abusive father and being placed in a foster home, like the eight-year-long $800,000 lawsuit with the SEC (I won), like losing our business and island home in the recession, like my wife's battle with cancer and my decision then to change our destiny through writing ... by winning this contest!
