I led one of these months ago and I'm leading another now. It's like a feedback session where writers submit and read their stories, except the stories being read are highly accomplished (sold to pro-rate paying market at least if not winner/nominee of major awards). The focus is on understanding what makes the stories work well and how we can take those lessons and apply to our own writing.
This time I'm hoping attendees will choose stories for us to read (put a link as a comment in the Meetup below--please pay attention to the requirements in the Meetup). If we don't get suggestions, I'll find some like I did last time.
