Yes, I have said that before. Like seven days ago.😄 But there’s enough negative energy surrounding writers without having someone in your inner circle adding to it. Make them stop. Stand up for yourself, who you are, and the time you must devote to your craft *to become good at it*.
And if they refuse?
Get new friends. Ones that understand. Ones that believe in you and cheer you on through thick and thin. The positive signs you are on the right path are paper thin in your apprentice stage. Find your people. Lone wolves get slaughtered.

You can do a story with smuggler ships of the Pacific Northwest with this one. Or the mafia during the prohibition. Or a spaceship running some other type of contraband. The choice is yours!

Take the independence that was supposed to be the foundation of digital currency to a whole new insidious level!
